Christmas Caroling: In this joyful Christmas season, adorable children from Kowloon City, Tseung Kwan O, Whampoa Garden, and Prime View Garden Campus go into the community, sharing love and joy through delightful songs and poems. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!

To celebrate the joy of Christmas, the school held the activity of  "Christmas Party" on 22nd December 2023. During the party, children enjoyed participating in fun booth games, meeting Santa Claus and performing Christmas songs. They all shared a wonderful Christmas with laughter and joy.

To celebrate the joy of Christmas, our school held a Parent-child “Christmas Ornament” Design Competition. Parents and children worked together to create unique Christmas ornaments. Through the competition, children’s creativity was inspired and their relationship with parents was strengthened.

To support the learning needs of Lower Class students, our school organized a Parent-child “Hand Puppet” Design Competition. During the process, parents and children worked together to create unique hand puppets using different materials. The activity helps inspire children’s creativity and enhance communication and relationships between children and parents.

To enhance children's interest in reading, the school has organized various reading activities at different levels this year. These activities included taking photos of the children playing the characters in books, shooting short videos of the selected picture book stories, and creating small storybooks related to Chinese cultures. Through these activities, we hope that parents can join us to encourage their children to do more reading, so as to cultivate a love of reading in them, enable them to learn to read, and better understand the world through reading.

Our school organized a Parent-Child ”Eco Bottle” Design Competition for Nursery Class students which was aimed at the concept of environmental protection. Parents and children made good use of reusable materials to create fun and interesting projects which looked amazing.

To raise children’s awareness about caring nature and to spread the message of protecting the ocean, the school held a parent-child beautiful waterworld poster design competition. Parents and children worked together to create posters with the theme of “Beautiful Waterworld”. Rich in content, the posters presented various artistic elements. Through participation, children’s creativity was inspired and their relationship with parents was strengthened. 

To promote the importance of sports among children, the school held a Parent-child Sports Day for Upper Class students on 25th February 2023. Throughout the day, children, parents and teachers actively took part in sports games and experienced the fun of sports together. It is believed that the sports day helped to develop good habits of doing sports among participants, enhance the team spirit of students, teachers and parents, and promote home-school cooperation.

A programme of Parents Storytelling was arranged for the first time on 20th February 2023. Through the programme, parents did some storytelling in classes for the children, who listened attentively to the stories of interesting picture books and enjoyed so much the storytime with their classmates.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, the school organized an activity of Happy Parent-child Lunar New Year Fair on 20th January 2023. Children and their parents enjoyed the joyous atmosphere of the Lunar New Year Festival, in addition to participating in a variety of stall games together. The Fair brought wonderful moments for children as they could better understand Chinese culture and traditions, while at the same time playing happily with their parents at school in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

To celebrate the joy of the Spring Festival, the school held the Activity of “The Rabbit Greeting the Happy New Year” for children and their parents on 20th January. Through participating in a variety of stalls including appreciating traditional items for the Chinese New Year, playing diversified games and exploring Chinese cultures at the Lunar New Year Fair, parents and children truly felt the rich festive atmosphere, enjoyed the fun happily together and deepened the understanding about Chinese Culture.

Former Chinese President Jiang Zemin passed away recently. On Tuesday morning, all teachers and students gathered to pay their final tribute to Chairman Jiang. During the morning assembly, the Principal introduced to all participants about Jiang’s biography, explained the significance and requirements of observing mourning in silence. At the time close to 10 a.m., the school held a National Flag Raising Ceremony. Followed by the flag-raising ceremony, the national flag was lowered to half-mast slowly. All participants then watched the live broadcast of the memorial service held for the public in mainland China. When the memorial conference announced a moment of silence, all students and teachers stood solemnly and observed 3-minute silence.

On the morning of 6th December 2022, the school lowered the Chinese flag to half-mast followed by a National Flag Raising Ceremony to show respect to former Chinese President Jiang Zemin. All staff members and children joined together to observe a 3-minute silence in memory of the former Chinese President Jiang Zemin who passed away in Shanghai on 30th November, 2022 at the age of 96. He was recognized by the entire Communist Party, the country’s People’s Liberation Army and its people of all ethnics as the brilliant state leader with high prestige.

Former Chinese President Jiang Zemin passed away in Shanghai on 30th November 2022. The school flew the national flag at half-mast during the morning assembly on 6th December 2022. At 10:00 am, all staff and students participated in a live broadcast mourning ceremony and observed a 3-minute silence. On the same day, the school explained to the children the reason for flying the flag at half-mast and introduced Jiang Zemin's life and contributions, as a way of thanking him for his dedication and his contributions to the country.
