Seeing Picture Books, Seeing Reading
On 16th October 2020, we have invited Mr. Kenny Or of the "Little Green Feet Parent-Child Reading Club" to hold a joint-schools' seminar on "Seeing Picture Books, Seeing Reading" for teachers. Through the seminar, teachers have understood the principles of book selection and improved their storytelling skills. Moreover, teachers have learnt how to use appropriate picture books with diversified speaking skills to share reading with children effectively. Besides, they have also learnt the strategies to attract children's interest in reading. We have built a good reading atmosphere in school with reading corners for various picture books and arranged comprehensive and interesting activities to cultivate children's interest in learning.
